Do I need to submit my website every month to the search engines?

No, you used to have to do that, but that is not required any longer, indeed it may be detrimental. Search engines like Google like to find your website for themselves. If your website is new you may wish to submit your details to trigger a visit, or if you have created new content you want indexed quickly. Otherwise, don’t submit.

Do you guarantee Page 1 positions in Google, Yahoo and Bing?

No, we only guarantee things we can control, and we don’t control Google, yahoo and Bing (otherwise we’d be very rich!!). Some companies do offer this type of ‘guarantee’, be very careful, there are sneaky ways to achieve this but the methods will either result in very low traffic levels or, worse still, will result in your being penalised for ‘black hat’ tactics (if you don’t know what I am referring to then ask me when we meet).

In contrast, all our current clients are on Page 1 of Google, Yahoo and Bing, so although we don’t guarantee results, we do deliver them!!

Who are the big search engines in the world?

Google, Yahoo and Bing, together they handle about 95% of all internet searches. There are some others worth considering depending on your industry sector and type of business.

Can I do some bits of SEO myself?

Yes, you can and should. No-one knows your business better than yourself. We’ll talk to you about the bits you can and should do yourself and which parts are better left to SEO professionals like us.

Is web video expensive?

No, not done our way. In the old days (showing my age here) producing a corporate or sales video or television commercial cost a lot of money (it still does). But producing high-quality videos for the web can be done quickly and cost effectively in lots of different ways.

If you have some PowerPoint presentations we can work from that. We will also create short videos for you and syndicate these online for much less than traditional newspaper or trade magazine advertising and much better results.

How is Web Video Marketing useful to my business?

Done correctly, and there are lots of ‘insider’ tricks you need to know to get it right, there are 2 main benefits. Your content appears quickly on lots of sites throughout the world, people view them, then come to your website to find out more. Also, Google, Yahoo and Bing see and follow these links, this leads to higher rankings in their search engines, which in turn means more targeted traffic for you!!
